With the changing and expanding roles of women in society today as nurturers, breadwinners, daughter’s, wives and mothers, we just naturally burn the candle at both ends (and sometimes in the middle). Every woman deserves, a feel-good space, whether it’s for dreaming, crafting, sewing, relaxing, yoga, meditation or just reading. Your feel-good space needs to be just that – your personal space. For women, our feel-good space should reflect and embrace our own personal style and includes only the things that we love and cherish or invigorates us. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create it. You don’t have to have a lot of room. What you do need to have is the desire to create a feel-good space of your own and the drive to carve out a quiet place designed just for you!
Studies have shown that men tend to make more of mark on their living space than women; hence, the strong emergence of the popularity of “Man Caves”. While, men have their place to retreat, women long and deserve their own personal space to relax, regroup and indulge. Therefore, it is considered good feng shui to create a space for peace of mind and meditation in the home.
Feel-good spaces are the special places that women have created as retreats from their busy everyday routines from sacred sanctuaries within their homes to working sanctuaries, to peaceful retreats for reading and respite. This course will provide you with the key elements, strategies and design elements that I have helped clients carve out of unlikely places within their homes.
