I think beach houses are magical.  Why?  Because of the proximity to the ocean, the natural environment which includes the sand, sky and water.  How all of these elements work together to help us breathe, relax and let go while we are on vacation.

Since the fall of 2016 I have been working through the design of one of my proudest design projects!  This is a design build beach house project in Duck Beach, North Carolina.  My client wanted a more contemporary feel to their beach house which will be rented throughout the summer months.

We set about creating a design style intent.  Therefore, outside a normal beach house we set out to create a more streamlined sophisticated approach.  Here are the results:

Living, Dining and kitchen area. Pops of blue with natural accents!
Children’s bunk room with pops of orange and green. Fun colors!
Master Bedroom with an ocean front view. Reflecting the water color into the interior.
Guest bedroom and bathroom. Flow of serene beach colors and feel.
Master Bathroom Decor. Carrying the seaside blue tiles into the bathroom with white flooring and cabinets

Den/TV Room. We specified Dr. Pitt by Mitchell & Gold Interiors.
Pops of red fill this bathroom design through tiles complimented by the blue walls.
Kitchen design with natural wood ceramic tile, custom painted cabinets, black countertops and stainless steel appliances.

This was an AMAZING project and proud of the results.  I believe we achieved the beach house magic we sought.  Want ideas for your own beach home?  Receive my COMPLIMENTARY  E-Book:  Declutter Your Life, Space & Prosper when you Sign up for my Aligned Expressions E News Here:  http://eepurl.com/H_Yab
